The Events module allows you to view every event in your Marketplace site. Only businesses with an expanded listing are allowed to display events. Events should always be added or edited through the Public View in Marketplace, not the Admin View. These events will appear under the tab “Calendar” on expanded Business Listing sites.

Events are an excellent way for businesses to engage their clients. Their clients can sign up to receive notice of events through SMS or email.

Business owners can manage events by clicking on ‘Events’ to the left of the photo on their Business Listing.

From there, click on an existing Event to edit, or click the ‘create event’ button on top of the list.

Click the ‘Create event’ button to add a new event.

  1. Type the name of the Event.
  2. Type the description.
  3. Type the date of the event.
  4. Enter a start and end time for the event.
  5. Click Save.

A great example of an event would be a band coming to play at a bar or an Art Show at a gallery.
