Below is a glossary of terms commonly used when working with Marketplace.

Account Coordinator
These are the people who will be selling to business owners.
Admin Panel
Located at yourdomain.com/admin, staff users can view and access business profiles and other Marketplace applications here.
Attributes
Attributes are a feature that can be added to a business page. See our documentation How to Edit Attributes.
Business Page
A business’ public page that is editable both by account coordinators and business owners who have claimed their business. For instructions on editing a business page see our documentation: edit-name-location.
Business Profile
The representation of a business page on the admin panel. For more information see our documentation: Profiles.
Business Type
By default a Marketplace page will have 6 business types, but more can be added to better adapt the Marketplace page to your local specifications. Different business types allow you to create individualized packages
Claim
When a business owner wishes to take ownership of their business page, they submit a Business Claim. Account Coordinators will receive an e-mail notification of this claim. For more instruction see our documentation: Completing a Business Claim.
Coupon
Coupons are a feature that can be added to a business page. See our documentation How to Edit Coupons.
CSS
Cascading Style Sheet (aka CSS) is the markup language you can use to format the basic appearance of your Marketplace site.
Event
Events are a feature that can be added to a business page. See our documentation: How to Edit Events.
Feature
There are a number of features available to a business page based upon the package to which the business is assigned. See a list here at Features and Feature Options.
Groups
You can assign consistent permissions to a set of users using Groups. Groups can be created for photographers, sales people, account coordinators or any other member of your staff. For more detail on creating groups see Auth.
Keyword
These can be added to a business page and relate the business to those terms when searched using Marketplace.
Market

oEmbed
OEmbed takes supported URL’s and automatically embeds media into reviews. See oEmbedded Media in Reviews
Package
Businesses can purchase different sets of features based upon packages you create. Instructions to change a business package can be found here or see our documentation: Marketplace Self-Serve.
Permissions
You can access and change a user’s permissions by accessing their user profile from the admin panel. Public users will not require additional permissions, but account coordinators will need to be given permission to access portions of the admin panel.
Photo

Product
Products are a feature that can be added to a business page. See our documentation How to Edit Products.
Review
Users can post reviews of any business in marketplace if this feature is enabled. See Ratings & Reviews
RSS
Often expanded as Really Simple Syndication, many objects on a business page can be followed by users using RSS feeds. Items that can be followed using RSS in marketplace include events and coupons.
SEO
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a term often used when looking to better your site’s standings in organic searches from search engines such as Yahoo, Bing and Google. A helpful introductory tool is the Google SEO starter guide.
Sitemap

User
The user model applies to both public user who read articles and staff members who add content. Anybody with a user account is a user. User accounts using permissions and groups. For further information see our documentation here.
Video

Widget
A widget is a tool that pulls content from one location and displays it in a compact form at another location. See our documentation here: Widgets.
